What is The Meadow micro wedding?

It's a one-day wedding for up to 50 guests with eight hours on the ranch. You get the historic open-air hangar for dinner and dancing, one ceremony site of your choice (a meadow, a riverside clearing, the pines or open ground facing the mountains), and photos around the venue. Outside caterers are welcome, so you can bring the food you love.

It suits couples who want a real wedding without a 150-person guest list: immediate family, the friends who'd show up for you anywhere, and a long dinner under the string lights.

What's included for $2,750

The hangar for your eight hours, one ceremony site, photos near the venue, parking, and access to the trout pond boats, campfire rings and trails. A cabin to get ready in is an add-on, so ask us about it when you check your date.

Bring any caterer, florist and photographer you like. Extra hours are priced on request.

Is a micro wedding at Alta Ranch exclusive use?

No, and we'd rather tell you up front. The hangar and your ceremony site are yours for the event, but our three cabins may be rented to other guests that day. Most couples never notice: the ranch is 340 acres.

If you want the whole property to yourselves, the Bitterroot Celebration is a full day of exclusive use for $4,000, with every ceremony site and a cabin to get ready in.

Can micro wedding guests stay on the ranch?

The Meadow doesn't include overnight stays, but you can rent the log cabins by the night: the Aspen ($250) for two, the Ponderosa ($300) for four, the Cottonwood ($400) for eight, or all three for $950, plus cleaning fee and tax, with a 3-night minimum.

If you want the people closest to you sleeping on the ranch the night of the wedding, look at the two-day Mountain Escape, which includes all three cabins.
